8. Because my husband never notices what I look like anyway.
9. Because this cold weather means you need more calories just to keep warm.
10. Because this hot weather means you lose weight just by perspiring.
11. Because I walked instead of going by bus and used up lots of calories.
12. Because I need something to calm my nerves after that awful bus ride.
13. Because I got up late and missed breakfast so I can eat more now.
14. Because I got up early so I’ll be really weak and tired if I don’t eat now.
15. Because the experts say its wrong to follow crash diets. You must adjust your usual eating habits and I usually eat this.
16. Because I only eat this once in a blue moon and surely I deserve a treat occasionally?
17. Because eating this will save money by reducing my appetite for the next meal.
18. Because not eating this would be a waste of money. I can’t afford to throw good food away.
19. Because I’ve never bought this before so I must try a little of it.
