So, you can see the benefit of patience, also fairly often we hear members saying ‘‘All that hard work and I’ve only lost a pound! A pound is a very good weight loss, added up over successive weeks it soon becomes a substantial weight loss. You didn’t put it on that quickly you know, you may have thought you did, it may have seemed like that, but really didn’t. It went on in a few ounces here a few there. So, it follows that you won’t actually lose it that quickly either, one pound or two pounds a week represents a very good weight loss. This is the speed of weight loss that the medical profession constantly state is the best for the health of the dieter.
