Gill's Weight loss Story So Far......
Before

It seems that I have been overweight almost as far back as I can remember, and on several occasions have successfully managed to shed quite a few pounds. My incentive this time to lose weight was when I received photos back from our holiday in the Dominican Republic. I was quite horrified, so I joined super slim. Although I have been following the back to basics diet for over 12 months now, I feel I have had a "slow but sure" progression in weight loss and have felt comfortable in dieting this way.

BUT - I have had my bad days and bad weeks where I could have easily given up, I would look at my weight card, or manage to get into the new pair of trousers and think to my self it will be worth it in the end. Even through these bad periods I still try to attend class each week as I find it helps to "clear the decks" and motivate you to start afresh each Friday morning.

I have to admit being overweight has never inhibited me from participating in any activities, I scuba dive and have done so for the last 12 years, I have Abseiled, hiked & canoed, but the thing I will I will be most proud to say isthat
I have achieved my target weight, just 7 more pounds to go.

Starting Weight = 14st 0lbs
Total Weight Loss = 3st 12lbs
Weight Now = 10st 2lbs
