Glen's Weight Loss Story So Far.......
Before

I first joined Super Slim for two reasons. Firstly I wanted to look as good as I could and being 48 years old, I wanted to reduce my weight while still active, as I know it gets harder to lose as you become older and less energetic. Secondly, as my mother has severe arthritis in her knees, should I be unfortunate enough to suffer this when I get older, I didn't want to be carrying too much weight.

I chose Back to Basics because it offered me free amounts of bread and potatoes, which I love as well as 2oz cheese per day. (I just couldn't live without cheese!) I try to eat two pieces of fruit a day and at least two vegetables with my evening meal. I have also changed to wholemeal bread, which I now prefer. I chose not to have my 200 calories cheat allowance daily, as tasting something sweet could probably result in my lapsing on my diet. I do allow myself fish and chips or roe and chips in a tray on Friday nights, thereby using my calorie allowance in one meal.

After losing about two stone, I started exercising for just fifteen minutes each evening, which I have now managed to increase to thirty minutes, and have now lost 66lbs as a result and am very pleased with the result.

Starting Weight = 17st 9lbs
Total Weight Loss = 6st 1lbs
Weight Now = 11st 8lbs
