I joined Super Slim at the Island Inn in West Bromwich in 1998, with my 12 year old son, after a leaflet was pushed through the door, advertising a new club in the street where I live. I decided to join as I was dangerously overweight at 25 st. I chose the Fat Buster diet which allowed me to eat normal foods. Within a week the weight started to fall off. The more I lost, the more determined I was to reach my target weight.

It was like being at the start of a tunnel and each week I would take a step along. Now after 16 months I have finally reached the other end. My Group Leader and Area Manager have been very supportive and their encouragement and help made me determined to succeed. Other club members and work colleagues have also spurred me on.

The only regret I have, is not joining Super Slim earlier. They say life begins at 40 and for me, it really did. My lifestyle has changed enormously. Thanks Super Slim for turning my dream into reality.
