Steve's Slimming Success
Before

I joined the Blackheath Super Slim Club on 16th September 1998. After gaining a lot of weight I was struggling to fit into my motorbike leathers. Although I was the only male there, everyone made me feel welcome and included me in the group discussions. I came home determined to stick to the diet after weighing in at 17st 1lb, and vowed to get to my target weight. In the first week I had lost 14lb. After that, I had a steady weight loss each week of between 2 and 5lbs with only one gain, before reaching my target weight of 13st 2lb.

On the 16th December I reached my target. I went to work the following day and proudly wore my "Target Member's" badge pinned to my work cap. I can now eat more or less what I like. I hope my story will inspire other men to join a Super Slim Club because if I can do it they can too. I know it can be a bit off-putting entering the class for the first time in what is mainly a female dominated environment, but I can honestly say that I enjoyed every class I attended, and got a great deal of encouragement from the ladies. They made me feel special!

Weight Now = 13st 1lbs
