I joined Super Slim in August 1996 after the birth of Sophie my second child. My weight problem started as a teenager. I decided to lose weight for lots of reasons - hurtful remarks, embarrassing situations and a white wedding! I was due to remarry in September 1997 but couldn't wear a white dress at 17½ stone! So when Sophie was 6 weeks old, I joined the Audnam class. The first week I lost 7lbs and by September 1997, I walked down the aisle after shedding 6½ stone. My group leader has been so supportive and the other ladies in the class have now become good friends. I reached target in March 1998 having lost 8 stone. I feel more confident especially when I sing at clubs in my spare time. Joining Super Slim was the best thing I've ever done, it's changed my life!
