Is It Difficult To Lose Weight

It can be difficult to lose weight, depending on your approach, and depending on how desperate you are to lose it.

Attitude

If you start a diet half hearted you wont get very far. You must want to do it.  It is not enough to just say that you want to, you must mean it.  You must also want to do it for yourself and not for anyone else.

Why do we eat?Eating is one of lifes great pleasures. If we did not eat food for energy, the human race would have died out years ago.  We cant live without food.

To lose weight we are not asking you to live without food.  What we are asking you to do is eat in moderation.  The key word is adjustment.  Adjusting your eating pattern so that you eat more healthy foods allowed on our eating plans.

These foods are very filling and should not mean you will feel hungry.  However, at the same time you must keep a closer eye on the intake of how many high calorie naughty foods you consume.

The solution is to adjust the naughty food intake that got you here in the first place, but not by stopping it altogether.  If we ask you to stop eating your favourite foods altogether, sooner or later you will binge on them.

Its the old saying you always want what you cant have.

Why diet?

It would be a good idea if we could lose the word diet from our language.  The very thought of a diet to most people is treated with as much enthusiasm as a trip to the dentist.

Actually the word diet crept into our language from the French in the middle of the sixteenth century and means to regulate oneself as to eating,  not to stop eating all the things that you like.

Healthy Eating Plans

One good diet or healthy eating plan as we like to call it, is worth ten half-hearted diets that you only play with for a few weeks.  Remember, adjust your food intake.  Use our eating plans to their full potential.
