Oat Cookies


The following cookie recipe will help you lose weight when combined with your Super Slim diet. Please speak with your personal consultant for more weight loss details of this and other recipes.

Ingredients

  • 250g Self raising flour
  • 75g Porridge oats
  • 175g Soft light brown sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 125g Butter
  • 2 level tablespoons golden syrup
  • 2-3 Table spoons skimmed milk

Cookie Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 190ºc/375ºf, gas mark 5 Mix together the flour, oats, sugar and salt in a bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in the syrup and sufficient milk to form a stiff dough. Knead well. Place small spoons of the mixture on to a lightly greased baking tray and flatten using the back of a fork . Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. Place on a wire rack to allow to cool and crisp.
