A Sample Menu for the 'High Protein, Low Refined Carbohydrate' Diet
At Superslim we believe that to lose weight you must eat normal everyday foods, fitting in easily with family meals.
The 'High Protein, Low Carbohydrate' diet is the diet that launched Super Slim in 1974. Do try to eat protein at every meal of the dya.
It is really easy to apply the 'High Protein, Low Refined Carbohydrate' diet to a normal day, as you can see from the sample menu below:
Day 1
Breakfast - 2 poached eggs, tinned tomatoes with poached mushrooms, 1 banana. |
Lunch - 5oz jacket potato with baked beans and 2oz of cheese, salad, 1 apple. |
| Evening meal - Chicken breast, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, 1 yoghurt. |
Supper - 4oz of grapes, slices of cooked meat and pickles, glass of wine. |
| Treats - Baked beans sauce (30 calories), yoghurt (55 calories), glass of wine (90 callories). |

Day 2
Breakfast - 1 oz of Weetabix, skimmed milk and 8oz fresh fruit salad. |
Lunch - Slice of slimmer's quiche with a large green salad, pot of low fat chocloate mousse. |
| Evening Meal - Salmon fillet, steamed vegetables with parsley sauce, stewed apple and icecream. |
Supper - 2oz of cheese with pickles. |
| Treats - Chocolate mousse (75 calories), parsley sauce (40 calories), icecream (100 calories). |
