Power Of Positive ThinkingBe positive. Dieting, in common with very many other things in life produces results in direct proportion to the effort you put in and one of the most essential ingredients is being POSITIVE. The more determined you are the more likely you are to succeed. If you adopt the type of attitude that says you 'hope' to do well success is not definite in your mind. If you adopt the attitude that you will 'definitely' do well, success is assured. You have now been weighed and achieved your results for this weeks dieting. Whatever your result was, although we hope it was excellent, you are now going to start a fresh new week full of enthusiasm. By the 'weigh' it starts right now, NOT tomorrow morning after tonights binge, because don't forget whatever you do after being weighed this evening will show up next week. Many members leave the classes each week in just the right frame of mind which lasts right up to the week-end. Sometimes then, the less positive dieter goes right off the rails! If this is you - think about it - prepare in advance, be even more strict in the week when it is easier to do so, in this way when you test your will-power at the weekend (it is you that tests it, you know) you will have saved some 'extra' calories to spend so your diet and more importantly your weight loss will not be affected. Provided of course, that the calories saved in the week only just equalled those extra spent at the weekend. In a perfect dieters world the calendar would have no Saturdays or Sundays and evenings would finish at 9 o'clock!!! |
