Hints From Joyce Who Takes The Coach House Club At Weston.

O.K.  I saw you ............. you dipped into that tub of low-fat spread and didn't bother to weigh it.  So your scales aren't that accurate under 1 oz.  So weigh out 1 oz, divide INTO TWO but EAT ONE PIECE ONLY (use other half tomorrow).  Simple isn't it!!

Research has shown that people eat more if they are alone--------- SO BE SOCIABLE.

When we say trim off ALL the visible fat, that's exactly what we mean.  Did you know that every 1oz of fat that you pop into your mouth costs you over 150 calories and adds LUMPS of fat on to that excess fat you already have.  So prepare your food carefully.

I bet the first potato you weighed was more than 6 oz.  It takes a little while to get your eye trained, but soon you'll be picking out the right sizes automatically.  Until then - WEIGH.

I know you don't always feel at your brightest first thing in the morning, but do be careful with your cereals.  They vary enormously in the amount you get in your dish.  You'll appear to get twice as much puffed wheat as bran flakes for an ounce.
