Patient Sliming

A scarce commodity in a dieter!

For nearly all would-be dieters yesterday they ate and drank everything and anything that they wanted to, putting to the back of their minds any thoughts of the result of their intake.

Today they are dieting and want the results by tomorrow, if not sooner!  At the very latest by the time they step on the scales at their next class.

They are eating LESS and they want it to SHOW, NOW!

Looking  at the following recorded results of two of our members, proves beyond doubt of the need for patience and display admirably the very satisfactory results of patience and perseverance.

e.g. Miss Hare who insisted that she wanted                 Mrs Tortoise who includes her particular

and needed to be very strict!                                             indulgence but under control.

So, you can see the benefit of patience, also fairly often we hear members saying "All that hard work and I've only lost a pound! (Group Leaders, now is a very good time to take along to class some meat fat weighing whatever you like, asking them to guess the weight, most often the members guess rather more than the actual weight, because the meat fat is so unpleasant to look at the members remember this lesson very well. Actually passing it around for them to assess the weight is best)

A pound, or even half a pound is a very good weight loss, added up over successive weeks it soon becomes a substantial weight loss.  You didn't put it on that quickly you know, you may have thought you did, it may have seemed like that, but you really didn't.  It went on in a few ounces here a few there.  So, it follows that you won't actually lose it that quickly either, one pound or two pounds a week represents a very good weight loss.  This is the speed of weight loss that the medical profession constantly state is the best for the health of the dieter.
