Bacon Burgers

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 4oz/110g smoked bacon (chopped)
  • oil for frying
  • 11lb/450g lean minced beef
  • 3 tbsp. Chopped parsley
  • ½ egg beaten
  • salt & pepper

Protein Diet Recipe Instructions

Fry bacon in a little oil, or dry in a non-stick pan, until brown, drain on kitchen paper & leave to cool.

Mix minced beef with bacon, parsley and seasoning, then add egg to bind.

Using wet hands, shape the mixture into eight even-sized burgers.

Cook on a Hot Barbeque
