Bread Pudding
Serves 6
- six slices bread
- 2 eggs
- 3 oz sultanas
- 2 teaspoons canderel powder
- 3 oz chopped dried apricots
- 1 teaspoon mixed spice
- skimmed milk
Method
- Lightly grease casserole dish with low fat spread.
- Cut up bread into small pieces.
- Layer bread and fruit into dish.
- Beat together eggs, canderel and spice.
- Make up to one pint with skimmed milk.
- Pour over bread and fruit.
- Leave to soak into bread for half an hour.
- Bake at regulo 3-4 for one hour.
