The following contribution was sent to us from Ann Clarke who attends our George Salter classReaching the age of thirty, I decided it was about time I did something about the way I looked. After having had two children, I found I was kept very busy and just totally neglecting myself. Instead of having breakfast, I would reach for the biscuit tin and have a least half the packet, other downfalls were chips, pies, cakes and chocolate. When my sister Julie suggested joining Super Slim, I decided to try it. Well, I weighed in at an amazing 17stone 2lbs. I was on the protein diet which I stuck to rigidly but by Thursday I was hungry all the while and would have given anything for a chocolate bar but I decided to keep on trying. When I went along to the club on the following Monday I had lost 9lbs! I was amazed and decide this diet was going to work. I have now lost a total of 62lbs which I am over the moon about. Now I don't get out of breath running for the bus, I can bend and touch the floor, I've got lots of energy to play with the children and last but not least, I can buy clothes off the peg at a reasonable price. So don't give in, it's really worth the hard work because people notice the difference and say how well you look. Just before I finish, a special thanks to Jill and all at Super Slim, George Salter members and my sister Julie who has encouraged me every week. I shall keep on dieting because I have got more energy, confidence and I just really feel great!!! Thanks Ann and well done. |
